And the sake of the men who sacrificed everything in order to protect her. But what happens when they find themselves tangled in a web of lies and deceit? Robin's Review: Check Your Triggers😊 If there is a book that is a must-read, then this is it. This book is an absolute page-turner, packed with gripping action right from the start. As the story unravels, secrets, lies, and broken promises (yup, I know) emerge, leaving me hungry for more. The slow burn throughout the book is so incredibly intense that I am turning the pages in a” just one more page” kinda thing. It was truly an intoxicating story that formed an addiction quite early and quickly into the book. I am not going to summarize the story because you, as a reader, need to have a blank slate going into this book. You need to feel what I felt while reading it, not with my little “takes’ to cloud your experience. So, grab a beverage and your favorite snuggly piece, and go to your reading nook to while away the hours and fall into this new and exciting world with some “hubba hubba” guys. I highly recommend this book, series, and author and ask quite urgently to Ms. Michaels: please hurry with the next book, um, pretty please. It was my pleasure to receive a free ARC copy of this book, but that does not in any way affect my opinions in this review of this entertaining story.
