During the 1970's and 80's the NYPD was faced with gang wars, violent crimes. The city was in a financial crisis which resulted in many police officers being laid off. NYC would become what was known as Fear City.

 Visitors entered at their own risk. Retired Sergeant Greg Quinn would become a one man army fighting criminals on and off duty. Sergeant Quinn was involved in several shootings, hundreds of arrests and thousands of assists, and received many medals for his bravery. This is his fantastic true story. Heroes aren't born, they're made on the battlefield.The streets of NYC were Sergeant Quinn's battlefield.
