The Unrecovered
Part of: Smiling Flu

The virus doesn't kill you. The smile does...
Sarah Sampson, a forty-eight-year-old recluse, believes her father died in the Vietnam War. But when a TV broadcast shakes her understanding of the past, she sets out to discover the truth. As a deadly pandemic ravages the world, can Sarah and her K-9 companions survive long enough to confront the unknown?
Meanwhile, journalist Erica Goldman fights against the patriarchal “old boy network” to uncover the real story behind the “smiling flu” virus and save her career. And Dr. Carl Parks is faced with a patient who holds a shocking doomsday secret, but will anyone believe him before it’s too late?
You’ll love experiencing this genre-busting apocalypse thriller through the eyes of its complex cast of characters.
Robin's Review:
Go beyond the expected with Len M. Ruth's The Unrecovered; this book takes an original perspective on apocalyptic themes, leading readers through a thrilling journey of suspenseful pacing and unpredictable turns. Quite an enjoyable ride. Highly recommend.
