This rag-tag group of misfits struggle to survive amidst zombies and humans that have no good intentions. Jana tries to maintain while fighting her own personal demons with alcohol.
Book One in The Group Series is an incredible journey through the zombie apocalypse where Jana finds the family she never had but always needed. A story of survival that is more than just personal survival but one of strength and courage.
This book is awesome– I usually write down my favorite lines in my book reviews, but I had so many just in the first few chapters that I gave up. I love snark, and this book definitely delivers. I don’t want to ruin it for you by telling you too much and spoil your experience but suffice it to say that I enjoyed it immensely. I’m already impatiently waiting for the next one.
The main character, Jana, is incredibly well-written and relatable. I felt like I was right there with her, trying to survive in this post-apocalyptic world. Wow. Just, wow. This author is one to watch in the coming year.
