Leah is the black eye the Green Lands never saw coming.Born to two of the most hated rulers, she didn’t earn any points with the people by trying to assassinate their most beloved queen.
Two years after the failed assassination attempt, she’s making great strides in learning her powers, improving her reputation, and forging a new future. All until a tiny little accident makes her question her family ties and her goals.A teenage pregnancy was never part of her plan, and now she’s faced with the reality of starting all over again. Can her relationship with Marcus survive the scrutiny of the royal family, and that of the entire realm?
Robin's Review: I enjoy reading this series. The story is written so descriptively that I fall back in place when I start the next book. The characters have shown depth, growth, and maturity as they progress through their life and events. Throughout this series, J Houser has touched upon some sensitive issues and emotions, and she has done it respectfully and beautifully. It saddens me to see this series end, but it was such a fun and thrilling ride that I have no regrets. I highly recommend her as an author and all of her works.

It was my pleasure to receive a free copy of this book, but that does not affect my opinions in this review of this entertaining story.
